Our pet cemetery was established 38 years ago and is the only one in the county of Kent. The setting was chosen for its peace and tranquility and today is home for thousands of dearly loved and most definitely not forgotten pets.
If your pet has died or you are awaiting the imminent loss of one please accept our sincerest condolences. We know that the loss of a much loved and cherished pet can be a devastating experience for all concerned (see bereavement services). Unfortunately there will come a time of parting and even though the whole thing is tinged with grief it is a comfort to know that your pet can be remembered and cared for in death just as we do a loved one who has passed away.
A burial in The Thanet Animal Cemetery is a final and fitting farewell for a much loved pet, and can help in the grieving process and the act of gaining closure.
Your pet will have his or her own individual grave which can be marked with a headstone, available from Thanet Stone, 01843 822840 or your own plaque which can be placed where you and your family can visit and pay respects.
Please be reassured that we will carry out your wishes with the utmost care and compassion.
